Happiness Exercise #1: Appreciate Simple Joys

This is the perfect time to start a practice that invites you to notice and appreciate all of the wondrous things within and around you! The practice I'm referring to is Gratitude.

Never thought of gratitude as a "practice"? It surely can be - and today is the perfect day to give it a whirl! Take a moment - right now - and draw a deep breath in. Let it go slowly. And notice how your body felt - expanding and moving toward its' center. Enjoy a few more breaths in this manner & start to cultivate gratitude for the mere fact that you can breathe deeply - unencumbered - & that you are able to take a few moments out of your day for yourself. Happiness Tip: Try to do this every day and begin to notice other things that you may take for granted but are truly grateful for. It'll make a world of difference in how you see the world around you! Have the best day!
